Most websites are built for launch day. I build them for everything that comes after.
I'm Jorge, a freelance WordPress and frontend developer in Costa Rica. By “after” I mean editors who can change a page without calling anyone, code the next developer can pick up, and updates that don't break the site.
What I do
I work with agencies, often white-label, and with small businesses on custom websites and content systems. Small scope or large, the goal is the same: fast, well made, and easy to live with.

Custom themes with Gutenberg, ACF Blocks or ACF Flexible Content, or clean work inside Elementor and other builders. No theme you're afraid to update.

Post types, fields and blocks shaped around how your team actually writes and edits, so adding a page never needs a developer.
Frontend development
Fast, accessible frontends from your designs, with attention to the small details: spacing, states, motion, the stuff people feel but don't notice.

Custom plugins, APIs and third-party connections (CRMs, forms, booking, payments) wired in cleanly and documented for whoever comes next.

How I work
I'm one person, and I like it that way. When you work with me, I'm the one writing the code, answering your emails and fixing the small thing on a Thursday afternoon.
- Through agencies
- A lot of my work comes through agencies. I'm used to building under someone else's name and fitting into their tools, or talking to the client directly when that's simpler.
- Built for editors
- I build with Gutenberg, ACF Blocks and ACF Flexible Content, and I'm at home in Elementor too. If your team works with another builder, I'll work with it properly instead of fighting it. Either way, editors get room to move without breaking the layout.
- Wherever you are
- I'm in Costa Rica (UTC−6). My day overlaps most of the US working day and the afternoon in Europe, and I work with teams in other time zones too.
- After launch
- When a site launches, it should be able to live without me. If you want me around after that, I'm happy to stay.
